Mr. Gilbert Linstead
General Manager
Mr. Gilbert Linstead has been with the Company since 1981. He has worked as Plant Manager and Operations Manager for a number of years. In 1989, he moved to General Manager and has maintained that position ever since. Mr. Linstead received his education in Fisheries Food Technology at the College of Fisheries in St. John's in the late 1970s. With his extensive knowledge and expertise of the fishing industry and the overall responsibility of the Company, Mr. Linstead has coordinated his staff as a team to ensure that all aspects of the Company are operated as efficiently as possible. He works closely with national and international companies to insure that sales and quality are addressed in a professional manner. Mr. Linstead insures that all share certificates are kept in order and that all the shareholders are kept aware of the Company's business by publishing newsletters to all shareholders at least twice a year. He continues to work hard for the benefit of the Company and the communities which it represents.
Mr. Ken Fowler
Assistant General Manager
Mr. Kenneth Fowler is Assistant General Manager. He has worked with the Company since 1981. Mr. Fowler trained at the College of Fisheries in St. John's during the late 1970s. He has extensive knowledge of the fishing industry and has served in several different positions with the Company over the years. He is responsible for the day to day management of the Company's operations ensuring the plants have adequate supplies of raw material if at all possible, while ensuring the offshore shrimp boats and their crews are taken care of as well.
Mr. Frnak Flynn
President
Mr. Frank Flynn, who is president at the present time, was first elected at the inaugural meeting in 1978. Since that time, he has served as President for all except three years. Mr. Flynn is a full-time fisherman from Forteau, Labrador, and has served on many voluntary organizations over the years, one such being the Chairman of the Forteau Fishermen's Committee. He has a keen knowledge of the area and its needs, and works hard to ensure that as much benefit as possible can be derived from the Company in the local area.
